Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Infectious Disease Per Diem Physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Silverdale, Washington.  We are dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.  Our ideal candidate will be an exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate physician possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities.

 

  • Work duties will include hospital rounding and call coverage, primarily weekends, and covering shifts on some holidays and when our full-time physicians are on vacation.  
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams 
  • Offer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
  • Stay current with research and best practices in Infectious Disease to provide evidence-based care


Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Medical Degree
  • Completed ACGME Residency Training and Fellowship Training
  • Board Certification Infectious Diseases - American Board of Internal Medicine
  • ACLS, Washington State Medical License and DEA in good standing
