Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our OB/GYN physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Enumclaw, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of women’s health cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families.  We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

 

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate OB/GYN physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Women’s Health disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. 

  • Full-time (1.0FTE) position based at St. Elizabeth Hospital, a 38 bed Level III Trauma Center located in Enumclaw, WA.  

  • The group does approximately 40 deliveries per month.  There is 24/7 anesthesia coverage.

  • St. Elizabeth has a Level II special care nursery capable of caring for infants as young as 32 weeks as well as a partnership with Seattle Children’s for specialty newborn care if needed.  

  • Join 2 OB/GYN physicians, 2 CNM’s and 2 FP/OB physicians.  

  • Join a close knit, congenial practice located in a thriving rural area.  This practice services a number of small communities including the neighboring Muckleshoot Reservation, providing access to comprehensive women’s healthcare in a high need area.   

  • Enjoy picturesque views of Mt. Rainier from the newly renovated Family Birth Center, known for it’s high breastfeeding success rates and c-section rates well below the national average.

  • There is opportunity to build a robust OB/GYN practice with support from VMFH Women’s Health Service line including 6 MFM’s, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists.  

  • We are offering a guaranteed two-year base salary, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance and a wide range of benefits.

 

Job Requirements

Required

 

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Washington

  • Two years OB/GYN MD experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families
