Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or OBGYN Advanced Practitioner, you will join our growing Department of Women’s Health in Gilbert, Arizona.

 

Everyday you will help patients receive exceptional obstetrical, neonatal, and gynecological care so they can experience healthy pregnancies, positive birth outcomes, and optimized women's health throughout their lifespan.

  • Group of 7 CNMs and 9 MD’s
  • Why the opening? Patient access consistent clinic coverage, manage medication refills, Proxy for providers during PTA.
  • Case mix/patient population: General OB GYN - AHCCCS /Commercial and Self Pay.
  • Projected Volumes:  18-24 patients in clinic per 8 hour day in clinic.
  • Outpatient and consults.
  • Typical week: Salary position 40 hour work week. 5x8's.
  • No call
  • Be member of a fantastic team including genetic counselors, sonographers, RNs, diabetic educator, and dedicated office/support staff

To be successful in this role, you will manage low-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and the highest standards of care.

Job Requirements

Required

 

  • Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.
  • Compact state or Arizona RN license
  • Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
  • Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.)  NP-AANP,  c.)  NP-ANCC
  • Certified Nurse Midwife
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Must meet credentialing criteria

Preferred

  • 1 year CNM or NP/PA experience in OBGYN
