Hospitalist

CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 236-bed, Level II Trauma Center and regional referral hub serving central and western Nebraska. As a tertiary care facility, Good Samaritan offers a broad range of specialty services and a highly collaborative medical staff dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.  The hospital features a 24-bed open ICU with intensivist support, a strong hospitalist program and engaged subspecialists across cardiology, thoracic and vascular surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and women’s services. Hospital-based medical transport services at Good Samaritan include AirCare–the state’s longest operating air medical provider, as well as ground 911 and long-distance ambulance services. Physicians benefit from advanced surgical capabilities, interventional cardiology, comprehensive diagnostic and imaging services, and a team-based culture that promotes clinical excellence and collegiality.

Through its academic partnerships with Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, providers have opportunities to engage in medical education and teaching. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule, strong specialty support, and the chance to practice in a regional referral center serving more than 300,000 residents across Central Nebraska.
