Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.  DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Are you a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for gastrointestinal care? Join our dynamic team in Chandler, Arizona, and play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to patients with a diverse range of gastrointestinal disorders.

What You'll Do:

• Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services to gastroenterology patients, collaborating closely with our physician team.
• Manage patient care across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach, developing care plans for patients and their families.
• Facilitate appropriate referrals to specialists and community resources, ensuring seamless patient navigation.
• Actively participate in the education, development, and growth of the DHMG Gastroenterology Division.
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical directors of the GI Service Program to uphold exceptional quality standards and regulatory compliance in clinical service delivery.

Schedule:

• One weekend per month is required.
• Opportunities available to provide vacation coverage in either our clinic or acute care setting.

PA Requirements:

• Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.
• Valid DEA registration
• Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff

NP Requirements: 

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
• Compact state or Arizona RN license
• Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
• Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.)  NP-AANP,  c.)  NP-ANCC
• Valid DEA registration
• Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
