Part-Time OB/GYN Physician (Ambulatory) Opportunities in Coastal Santa Cruz, CA

Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican is seeking a part-time BE/BC Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (OBGYN) to join our patient centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA. Compensation and Benefits Include:

  • Annual 1.0 FTE base salary of $395,000, prorated based on specific FTE level
  • Productivity incentives

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in both office and hospital settings.
  • Clinic: Perform routine exams, manage prenatal and postnatal care, and conduct obstetric and gynecological procedures.
  • Hospital: Perform deliveries, surgeries and managing obstetric emergencies
  • Collaborate closely with Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) in a heavily co-managed care model.
  • Engage in innovative practices to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Mentor and support junior staff and residents.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Job Requirements

  • MD or DO degree, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA certification
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
