Job Summary and Responsibilities

CommonSpirit Health is seeking motivated and clinically skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support Radiology Services across its hospitals in Tennessee and North Georgia. 

 

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, hospital-based radiology department supporting both diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology services. The APP will work closely with radiologists, interventional radiologists, referring clinicians, nursing teams, and operational staff to enhance patient access, procedural efficiency, continuity of care, and overall service quality. Availability for after hours coverage for additional bonus is preferred.

Position Details:

  • Perform selected radiology procedures (credentialing and privileges reqd)
  • Assist with fluoroscopic and image-guided procedures
  • Support interventional radiologists in inpatient, outpatient, & procedural settings
  • Perform selected image-guided procedures within approved privileges
  • Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Venous access procedures, and more
  • Pre-procedure and post-procedure patient management
  • Assist w/ consultations, scheduling, & procedure coordination

Job Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Tennessee
    and/or Georgia (or eligible for licensure in both states)
  • National certification in applicable discipline
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS preferred - depending on role
  • Experience in hospital-based patient care
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology, Vascular Access, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Hospital Medicine preferred
