Job Summary and Responsibilities

Dignity Health Medical Group - Ventura County is seeking a Family Medicine Access APP (NP/PA) dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to our beautiful community of Ventura County, CA. 

As our Family Medicine Access APP, you will join an established, collaborative team at Dignity Health Medical Group - Ventura County, growing our primary care team by providing compassionate and expert services to the community of Ventura County, California.
 
Every day you will manage and extend access care to new and existing patients, averaging 16-18 patients per day, and provide floating clinic and inbox support—such as handling same-day visits—across our regional facilities.
 
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced (3+ years) APN or PA with the necessary California licensure, certification, and a dedication to high-quality community care. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the organizational mission and providing patient-centered care, education, and service.
  • Meeting productivity goals, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Upholding core values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence.
We are offering a competitive compensation package that includes a salary range of $140,000 - $160,000, a $2,000 annual CME allowance, and recruitment incentives such as relocation assistance. Benefits also include 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and malpractice insurance, along with retirement plans and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program eligibility.

 

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current and unrestricted California NP or PA license
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally competent care to a diverse patient population

 

Strongly Preferred

  • 3+ years experience as a Primary Care Advanced Practice Providers
