As our Full- or Part-Time In-House Laborist, you will help pregnant patients at Saint Joseph East Women's Hospital receive immediate and expert obstetrical care so they can safely navigate labor, delivery, and obstetrical emergencies in a well-equipped community hospital setting.

Every day you will evaluate and manage OB ED patients, stabilize and manage emergencies, cover vaginal deliveries, and provide first assist for C-sections. You will not have clinic responsibilities or traditional on-call duties, though a hybrid role may be considered for interested candidates.

This hospital supports 15 delivering providers from 5 local practices, averaging 140 deliveries per month, with approximately 5% covered by Laborists. The hospital is equipped with 2 OB ED beds, 12 L&D/AP rooms, 3 L&D ORs, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, a Level III NICU, and Dedicated In-House OB Anesthesia. Epic EMR is utilized.
