Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed provider group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.  DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Expert Faculty Physician, you will be a pivotal leader in academic medicine, delivering cutting-edge patient care and shaping the future of healthcare professionals. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity for a board-certified physician to integrate clinical excellence with a passion for medical education, impacting both present patient outcomes and the next generation of caregivers. We're seeking a physician deeply committed to innovative medical practice, mentorship, and healthcare advancement.

 

Every day you will be performing direct patient consultations and providing inpatient/outpatient medical care, strictly adhering to clinical guidelines and regulatory compliance. You'll actively engage in resident and fellow supervision, delivering comprehensive medical training and evaluating clinical competencies. Your expertise will contribute to developing clinical programs and medical technology, participating in meaningful medical research, and driving quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.

 

To be successful in this role, you will showcase a proven track record in delivering expert medical services within your licensing and privileges, coupled with exceptional leadership in medical education. You will possess strong capabilities in research design, grant application, and scientific article preparation, along with a commitment to quality improvement methodologies and risk management. Your ability to strategically contribute to financial planning, budget development, and business strategy will be essential, all while exceeding productivity standards and fostering positive interdepartmental relations within a dynamic academic medical center.

 

We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
