Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Urgent Care Physician (MD or DO), you will join the thriving Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in our Capitola, CA clinic.

 

You will provide comprehensive Urgent Care services to a diverse community, focusing on lower acuity cases and a variety of acute illnesses and minor trauma. You'll benefit from a supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and personal well-being. Our clinic is open 7 days a week from 9am - 7pm.

To be successful in this role, you will be a compassionate and skilled Urgent Care Physician seeking a fulfilling career with exceptional Save work-life balance and practice autonomy.

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries for patients ages 3 months and older across the lifespan
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs, EKGs, and imaging
  • Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice
  • Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based care model
  • Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and care coordination when needed
  • Practice within a highly respected, mission-driven organization

 

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

  • Competitive annual salary guarantee of $376,200 with production bonuses
  • Sign-on bonus: up to $40,000
  • Relocation assistance: up to $20,000
  • 10-hour shifts, no overnights
  • Annual CME Allowance
  • Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer
  • Comprehensive benefits for provider and family including 401(k) with employer match.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Board-certified or Board-eligible MD or DO in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

 

Preferred

  • Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience
