CHI St. Alexius Health is a Level II Trauma Center and is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota that is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. In addition, CHI St. Alexius Health manages five CAHs in North Dakota- Ashley, Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, SD.   CHI St. Alexius Health – Bismarck, is a 185-bed, full-service, acute care medical center offering a full line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including primary and specialty physician clinics; home health and hospice services; durable medical equipment services and a fitness and human performance center. Since our founding in 1885, CHI St. Alexius Health has been dedicated to serving the residents of central and western North Dakota, northern South Dakota and eastern Montana.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will join a quality-driven, patient-centered anesthesia team providing services at CHI St. Alexius in Bismarck, North Dakota. This full-scopepractice opportunity is ideal for both experienced CRNAs and new graduates looking to build a rewarding career. You'll become part of a collaborative team of 8 anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs.  We are a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization where our goal is not to prosper personally, but rather, to enhance the lives of those seeking wellness. 

Every day you will provide anesthesia care for 30-40 cases per day across a broad range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, bariatrics, obstetrics, gastroenterology, ENT, urology, cardiac, and OB/GYN. This practice does not include cardiac or trauma cases, allowing you to enjoy a diverse yet balanced case mix.

  • Call: 1:8 Call from home

Job Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist from an accredited program
  • Ability to obtain North Dakota Licensure
