Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, you will join our compassionate team at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, playing a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a supportive and collaborative environment.

 

Every day you will provide expert clinical care by working under the supervision and direction of collaborating physicians or the Medical Director for the Hospitalist program. You will deliver comprehensive, preventative, and therapeutic healthcare services for which you are educationally prepared, ensuring that all actions are performed in full compliance with Nurse Practitioner Protocols and all regulations governing Advanced Practice Nurses.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a committed Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner passionate about providing high-quality care to patients and families. In your role, you will:

 

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications, counsel patients, and provide clear care instructions.
  • Maintain full compliance with all Nurse Practitioner Protocols and state regulations.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the Hospitalist program, including fiscal accountability, time, and resource management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of our hospitalist services.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Board-Eligible/Board-Certified
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arkansas
