Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Electrophysiologist, you will join our busy and established practice at the CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas - Kanis location, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality cardiac care to our community. Every day you will provide expert clinical care as part of a cardiovascular network committed to creating healthier communities. Our Kanis location serves as a hub for complex electrophysiology and structural heart care, providing our staff the opportunity to work alongside some of the region’s most distinguished cardiovascular specialists.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Electrophysiologist with a passion for clinical excellence, strong technical skills, and a commitment to providing superior patient outcomes within a supportive and innovative environment. In your role, you will:

 

  • Manage complex arrhythmias and electrophysiological disorders in a high-acuity setting while utilizing new PFA system technology and updated lab equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of distinguished cardiovascular specialists.
  • Work alongside an EP RN Program Coordinator who serves as a dedicated point of contact for patient triage and pre/post-procedure education.
  • Leverage the support of an EP lab-based Nurse Practitioner focused on facilitating same-day discharges.
  • Coordinate care with a dedicated team of hospital-based Nurse Practitioners who manage initial consults and rounding.
  • Contribute to the clinic’s "High Performing" status and participate in the continued technological advancement of our EP program.

Job Requirements

Required: 

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Active BLS
