Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) physician, you will provide comprehensive healthcare to women throughout all stages of life, including preventive care, prenatal and obstetric care, diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions, reproductive health services, and surgical management when appropriate.

 

Every day, you will apply your broad medical and surgical expertise to address a wide range of women’s health needs, fostering long-term relationships with your patients and guiding them through their healthcare journey. This involves meticulous assessment, thoughtful treatment planning, management of pregnancies and deliveries, performance of gynecologic procedures and surgeries, and effective communication to ensure compassionate, coordinated, and continuous care.

 

To be successful in your role, you will strategically deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women across the lifespan, serving as a trusted provider for both routine and complex women’s health needs. You will demonstrate exceptional medical and surgical expertise in preventive care, prenatal and obstetric management, diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions, reproductive health, and appropriate specialist referrals, all while promoting patient safety, well-being, and high-quality outcomes.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
  • Active Physician license in the State of Kentucky
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
