As our Gynecologic Oncologist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Seattle, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Gynecologic Oncology cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families.  We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate physician possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Gynecologic Oncology patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. 

• Full time (1.0FTE) Gynecologic Oncology position at Virginia Mason Medical Center, downtown Seattle.  Additional clinic time at nearby Federal Way location.

• Our group consists of one other Gyn/Onc and 4 Complex Benign Gynecology providers, one Gynecologist and 4 APP’s.  

• Join a multidisciplinary team as part of the Department of Surgery and the Center for Cancer Care.  Collaborating specialists include Radiation Oncology, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Pathology, Colorectal Surgery, Urology, General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

• Practice the full range of surgical and medical gynecologic oncology care.

• Call is shared equally (Gyn/Onc only) and equates to 8-10 weeks per year.  CBG fellows take first call.  

• Learning opportunities: The Gyn/Onc Department has a culture of teaching with a non ACGME-accredited CBG fellowship program.

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN

• Gynecologic Oncology fellowship training required

• Active or eligible licensure/DEA in the state of Washington

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
