Where you’ll work

The GI Group has operated our own Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) for 30 years and moved into our current building 10 years ago. They all share our office, calls, and ASC partnership. They currently have 3.5 physicians (down from 5.5 due to recent retirements) and are looking to add one physician immediately, with a second to follow over the next few years. They also have two part-time NPs who offer additional support.

The coverage they provide:For 20 years, we covered two hospitals 24/7/365, which we hope to resume once we are fully staffed. We also cover the VA once every 1 to 2 weeks.

Redding Endoscopy Center: This AAAHC-accredited facility serves as the premier standalone hub for outpatient procedures like colonoscopies and upper endoscopies. It operates on a collaborative model where prominent local private gastroenterologists—including Dr. P.K. Dhanuka, Dr. Leo Eickhoff, and Dr. B. Nicholas Namihas—are part-owners and perform their scheduled procedures here.
